Every anime fan had atleast heard or watched Attack On Titan. AOT gains huge popularity in short time. AOT have large number of characters in which many of them are fan favorite. So, this is not rare to have side characters which are more popular than Main protagonist. 

So, here I am going to talk about 3 AOT characters which are more popular than MC. 

3.ERWIN SMITH

Erwin Smith

One of the most badass character displayed in Attack on Titan. Erwin was determined, intelligent, and widely respected. Erwin was the commander of Survey Corps. During his last battle, all the soldiers fighting spirit was already crushed but when he says "HEISHI YO IKARE! HEISHI YO SAKEBE! HEISHI YO TATAKAE"   Then these words encourage them to fight even knowing that they are leading to their deaths. That much powerful Erwin's words are and that much respect he had earned. He was fighting for the sake of mankind until his last breathe and finally attain peace after DEATH. 

2. Mikasa Ackerman

Mikasa is the character which was introduced from the beginning of the show. She is childhood friend of Mc EREN. She was once saved by Eren. She is tall, strong and cute too. She always tries to protect Eren at any cost. That part of her makes her popular among fans. Her personal opinion on the world is This is a cruel world. And yet...so beautiful....  

I don't fully understand what she wants to say but this is what I understood that "this world has no humanity, lost all hope to survive but still I am able to live with my friends that's make me happy".

1. Levi Ackerman

Now, I am going to talk  about the main character of the show not really the mc but his popularity is much  greater than the real mc  i.e. Levi Ackerman. 

I started watching AOT due to it's immense growing popularity but I was  bored till episode 9 and thinking of dropping it and I was pondering why people love this anime so much then the introduction of LEVI in episode 9 happen. From that episode, AOT  becomes one of my favorite anime because of Levi. 

Levi is often called as Captain Levi because he is the captain of Special Operation Squad within Survey Corps. He is mankind's strongest soldier against Titans. He alone can finish a flock of Titans. He is cool, calm, composed and badass(everyone loves this side of him) too. He had been living criminal life in underground city but due to certain circumstances he had to join Survey Corps and he greatly respected Commander Erwin Smith and trusted his decisions. 

I have much more to say about these characters but that's it for an article. Which characters do you like most?
